This blog has been designed to stimulate meaningful and thought-provoking conversation around the construct of gender. Although created by academics, we welcome ANYONE to openly and sincerely contribute to this dialogue. We, the authors, believe that gender is a socially constructed phenomena and that through pointed dialogue we can begin to eradicate the intolerances often bestowed upon those who are "outside" of the heteronormative yardstick.

What does it mean to be a girl/woman? ...a boy/man?
